Chris Cart founded g-Blu in 2000. He started life as an artist and continues that way to this day. The world went digital and Chris just went right along. A whole new medium in which to create. Sweet.
He has been designing for the web since 2000. He is proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP, jQuery and Flash animation, the various palettes with which to build a modern site. His tools are the great Adobe suite of software, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and InDesign…and more recent explorations into Premiere and AfterEffects.

Before his design work, he was illustrating books back in the early ’90′s including six of the best selling Frugal Gourmet cookbook series. Then his illustration work led him to design jobs and in 2000 he launched g-Blu Design, or in those days gipsyBlue Design.

G-blu has worked with MQIP developing several sites for the Maine state government. Whenever there is a database question Bill and Polly are the go-to people to find out anything. They turn database management and architecture into a high art.
